Meredith and Andy love to help people.  They are in the “helping profession” as Andy says.  They are both very caring individuals and I think it really reflects in their expressions.  Agree?

This past weekend….

I equate big smiles with happy people and big personalities.  I can definitely say that Jennifer and Jon are happy people this weekend.  Why?  Cause they’re getting married tomorrow.  That’s right.  I said tomorrow.

We were only able to do their engagement session last night.  It was the first available date we three could get our schedules to coincide to make these photos happen.  I am so pleased by how they turned out.  These two are naturals.

All we did was wander around and looked for good light.  And boy did we find it!

The thing I love about winter weddings is that the quality of light is so soft and romantic.  I would even say it is somewhat dream like.  And that’s what makes Michelle and Tim’s wedding so special….well, other than the fact that they are both lovely people to share the day with.

Heather and Adam will be getting married in Kentucky.

They currently live in St. Louis…so they wanted an engagement session that reflected where they were in their lives at this point in time.  Something more urban feeling.  They already have a photographer hired to shoot their wedding who was unable to come to St. Louis for a photo session….so they contacted me.  I’m so glad they choose me to document this portion of their lives.

Starting off with one of my FAVORITES of the day!!!!!

They have fun with each other (as you can see above) and they love to laugh.  That’s the best kind of couple!

How adorable are those two?!?!?!  Can I just say …. Heather has GORGEOUS hair!!!!!

Since this was an urban-themed session, we had to make sure we showed the architecture of St. Louis in all it’s glory.

Sometimes I get a little silly with where I ask people to sit or stand…but I really like this arrow and them sitting there.  I know…a little quirky.

A small switch-a-roo of clothes and continuing on with the rest of their session.  It’s a nice change…one more casual outfit and one more formal outfit.

These two met with me on a damp, windy kind of day but despite the weather, I think the light was gorgeous and we had a great time getting to know each other better.
